San Fran Wedding {S.F. City Hall Wedding June 26th 2015}

I am so lucky I get to shoot weddings!  Some days I wake up and think how is it possible I get the dream job of capturing someones amazing special day and not just capturing these moments for them but being there with them witnessing them make vows to one another.  It is so special and I am so blessed.

I arrived this early morning to S.F. City Hall to capture this special intimate wedding.  When I pulled up to the City Hall I knew there was something going on, I mean globally.   I called me husband and asked him what is the world is happening at S.F. City Hall and he said the Supreme Court just passed the ruling to make same sex marriage legal in all states.  So of course I was in the heart of S.F. excited to explore the Hall and use the amazing space and architecture it has to offer but there was no way I was going to have any space.  We were surrounded by 10 new stations, the major was going to speak to the City, and they had a huge rainbow flag hanging up at the front entrance.  I was a bit nervous and was more nervous for my clients.  Also come to find out the United Nations were setting up for a huge 70th anniversary celebration right there in the City Hall so we had no access to the staircase…. it was a busy day in History for the City Hall.

But it went great!  They had a beautiful ceremony which was full of many tears and laughs.  They even got to be on T.V check out my last photos…..
