Deer Park Villa Wedding {Josh + Katie}

Summer weddings in Marin County located in the hills of Northern CA are beautiful in the summer. I love the warm sun shining, the perfect light breeze and evenings that are a little chilly in need of a light sweater. This wedding was just beautifully nestled in Redwoods. Josh and Katie picked the perfect venue located at Deer Park Villa. I love hearing the stories on how couples meet. This couple in particular made my heart smile over their story. They had know each other for a few years before they started dating. Katie said her first impression of Josh was that he was very cute but super young, she was curious about him. And Josh’s first impression of Katie was that she was super hot! He started attending the bar she went to and tried to make moves and got as many dates as he could. What strikes me about these two and their story is that is was a fun, slow starting relationship. They both were interested but in different ways and it took some time for them to truly win each other over, or actually give the time to win each other over. It is so cute! These two are super goofy, love to tease and joke and even be weird. I know that everyone they meet can truly say that they are contagious and a joy to be around. My husband and I felt like we gained friends and can’t wait to have them come up to Portland to visit.

I am so lucky that I get to have this job of entering into couples lives, and being able to be there from beginning to end documenting the most very special day of their lives. Congrats Josh + Katie! I am so excited when I get that text that you are pregnant and want us to document your growing family!
