Winter Wedding at Catta Verdera Golf Club {Lincoln, CA}

Planning a winter wedding in NorCal is like rolling dice, you never can predict what kind of weather you will get. It could be a sunny cold crisp day, overcast and warm, thunderstorms, rain or sun & rainbows. It is so unpredictable. The week leading up to Mike & Amanda’s wedding was gorgeous NorCal winter weather crisp & sunny. But we got news of a huge storm that was going to hit the day before their wedding. This storm was a big one, lots of rain, wind and it was cold! The weather made it a bit more difficult to just make it around Catta Verdera but it didn’t change the mood of the day. There was so much anticipation, joy and excitement as Mike & Amanda prepared for their special day. These two are both very family oriented and love to shower their loved ones with notes, gifts and time. It was no surprise that they both spent a lot of time writing notes to each other and to their loved ones. This wedding was a very emotional one and there were many happy tears shed through out the process of the day.

Mike and Amanda are perfect for one another. Mike pushes Amanda to be better and supports her to live out her dreams and pursue a nursing career. And Amanda is very nurturing and loves to encourage Mike to continue to be loving a help people in his work which is a fireman. These two were hooked up by a co-worker, Amanda worked at the hospital and Mike would transport people there so they saw each other a few times and they both caught each others eye. But it took a 3rd person to actually get these two to meet and go out with each other. I am so grateful they had a friend willing to do this for them, as everyone can see they are perfect for one another. They put God first and you can tell they have many years of happiness together! Congrats Mike + Amanda it was such an honor to shoot your wedding!
