Chris + Delaney {The Blue Goose Wedding, Loomis CA}

Aram and I meet a lot of couples, a lot of people and each time we get the pleasure to shoot a wedding we leave filling so full of love and appreciate for life.  This wedding was a particular one that left us feeling the love.  I met Delaney’s mom almost two years ago when she contacted me to take their family photos.  We instantly connected on so many levels and they welcomed me into their family.  I felt the love.  Well as soon as Delaney got engaged they contacted me and made sure I was available to shoot their wedding.  Capturing this day was so special.  They had a few sentimental traditions that I was able to capture.  Her grandma placed a family heirloom bracelet on her before the ceremony, all the women who got married wore this bracelet.  Then her grandma placed her veil on her which was handmade with love.  And then they had the old turquoise fixed up truck which was parked out front and Delaney’s grandpa had spent a lot of time and love making this truck perfect.  And then my favorite tradition, the Ball and Chain!  Yes a real heavy ball & chain was attached to the groom this has also been a tradition in their family each generation each groom has gotten to wear this on their wedding day.  So it was an honor to capture all these special moments for this special family so that years later they can look back and remember every detail of this amazing wedding day!
