The Bayley House Barn in Pilot Hill, Ca / Facebook + H.S. crush = Mr & Mrs Kesler

Yes, this love story began back in High School, but it began as only crushes.  Jay was the older cute cool guy, and Jen was the younger, smart, beautiful out of his league girl.  They parted ways after High School but they reconnected though facebook and decided to take to plunge and meet up for coffee at Bloom Coffee to reconnect.  They hit if off so well that he proposed two years later up at Mt Tallac in Lake Tahoe and of course she said yes!

They have gone through there fair share of hard times through out their time dating.  Jay was diagnosed with cancer and had to go through intense treatment.  He was also in a masters program for teaching.  Jen is amazing support and I can see how lucky Jay was to have her through that time.  He is now cancer free & that deserves a toast in itself.

Their wedding was so beautiful.  It was a very laid back summer’s wedding.  They handpicked a spot up on a hill for their ceremony to take place and they found the amazing The Bayley House Barn for their reception.  Their wedding reflected who they are as people.   They have such a style and love to make others feel loved.  They had the BEST bridal party who worked so very hard to make all of this happen.  Almost everything was handmade and designed by Jennifer, who is a designer herself.  She handcrafted every color, invitation, napkin, sign and decor so that the ambiance made you feel loved and appreciated.  It was such a success!  Something special & unique was that all the bridesmaids and mothers made a special cake for the wedding.  So there were many little cakes that were handmade for the wedding by the very ones that Jay & Jen love so very much, it was beautiful!  The best part about their wedding for me was the ceremony.  They were up on a hillside overlooking the Auburn hills saying their vows to one another.  And they a year prior they took a bike ride to the very same place and had a picnic and it was there they knew this was the spot for their ceremony and it was perfect!  So very earthy, natural and beautiful.  I love how they truly lived in the moment that day and soaked everything up and had the best attitude, spirit & heart and they were ready to commit to one another wholeheartedly.

Jennifer and Jay may you never stop dating, may you always put each other first and always celebrate life with one another.  You both mean so much to me and I appreciate so very much that I was chosen to be apart of your wedding day.  I shed a few tears that day because I felt the love in the air and I felt as though my husband and I were able to be a witness a love that is so deep.

Congrats friends and I look forward to meeting baby Keslers!
