A few months ago I drove to Elk Grove to meet this couple for coffee to meet & talk about wedding photography. We all opened up a bit to get to know each other and sure did! I was so in awe of what this couple had been through with in the 9 years of their relationship. They met in H.S. but didn’t attend the same school they didn’t even live in the same city they met through a mutual friend and lived miles away from each other . They started dating and kept it long distance through out the rest of H.S. After H.S. Tim joined the Marines and soon after was on deployed on active duty over seas. Kate waited here and went to school while he was over seas and once again they kept it long distance. He then was in a severe accident that nearly killed him! They told me all the details and the horror. I could see through all they have gone through they are meant for each other! He is so lucky to alive!!! They have been dating over 9yrs and are best friends with a deep connection and they look as though they are just newly dating….. you know head over heels in LOVE. They now just bought a home they are finally together and next year they get to tie the knot. So I am honored and so excited to be able to capture their special day. I bet all their family and friends are counting down the days until they make a life long commitment in front of their loved ones.
